Concord & 9th - Tree Hugs Stamp Set

Hello Everyone!!! I hope you're fine. I'm glad that I can share a few of my new projects with you. I received an envelope with absolutely amazing stamp sets from Concord & 9th two weeks ago. I used one of them and made a few projects. And I'm sure that I'll have to place a new order very soon because I have fallen in love with them. :-) My projects with Tree Hugs stamp set you can see below.

The first project - Set of Card & Tag
Firstly I stamped and coloured the tree trunks using Jet Black Archival Ink, Pumice Stone and Frayed Burlap Distress Inks. The trunks were stuck on white vellum. I cut the front part of the card, added the vellum with trunks and cardstock with "HUGS" in the bottom part of card. The tag was made from two layers (heavyweight cardstock and white vellum) and the trunks were added again.

The second project - Card
Firstly I made a background with trunks and dark sky using stamping, masking and blending techniques. The trunks were stamped using Jet Black Archival Ink, coloured and blended by Aquarell Coloured Pencils. In the end I used water and blending stump to get a real look of the birch trunks. The sky was blended with Faded Jeans and Chipped Sapphire Distress inks. The background and two layers of the white frame were cut using Rectangle Stitched Dies from Simon Says Stamp. Then I stamped and coloured the heart using Jet Black Archival Ink and Festive Berries, Barn Door and Fired Brick Distress Inks. The heart was cut by detailed scissors and added.

I also join my project into the challenges:
I wish you a great day and send hugs from snowy Prague.
